“The Nursery at Lathbury Road is the most incredible early years setting: a magical gem of nurseries and outstanding in every way. It offers children a safe and happy haven in which to grow and prepare for school. It provides its children with a very solid and stimulating academic grounding, whilst also providing an extremely warm and caring environment. It’s very strong approach to pastoral care includes helping to nurture and gently guide children’s behaviour, alongside their social and emotional development. The owner of the nursery, and the dedicated team of teachers, are all phenomenal – brimming with positivity and happiness – and completely invested in helping each individual child reach their full potential. My son has absolutely thrived under their care and he has relished every minute of his time at The Nursery; always full of smiles and laughter as he runs in the door every morning. She thoroughly enjoyed her first few days at Primary School – informing us when we collected her after her first morning that “I want to go back”! She was also allowed to go to school on Friday, even though her group wasn’t scheduled to do so, because her teacher felt she was more than ready!

“Louise and her team have taken wonderful care of my two sons over the past four years. I can’t overstate what a lovely, safe, warm place the Nursery is. The team have responded sensitively and with great care to my individual children’s different personalities and needs and from the outset made it clear that they intended to support us as parents in our decision-making and preferences for our children. It is a happy and stimulating environment and my children have been very comfortable there from the age of just-2 to nearly-5. The staff are incredibly dedicated and I can think of so many examples of them going the extra mile.
